Bern Observatory

Today I and my German friend, who is student of geology, went to Bern observatory, and I got a chance to see some advanced telescopes and also to find out about new advances regarding to GPS system. For example water vapor in the air may make 20cm mistake in the GPS system, and having the information of vapor distributaion in the layers of atmosphere as real time can correct this error, . . .,well maybe this weblog is not a place to talk about science:)
Also we met aprofessor who had discovered several important debries, and later we had barbeque in an open air area. COheck out some pictures:)
