Today was Saturday, the day of shopping. I woke up at 10 o’clock, drank a cup of milk and honey as breakfast, and went to the bundesplatz to withdraw some money from bank’s automatic machines.
As every other Saturday, there was some kind of Bazaar over there. Sellers in this Bazaar, mostly sell flowers and fruits. Swiss people have some very good relation with the flower so that you can see in front of every window, a row of nice flowers, and when you are walking in the street it seems the walls are decorated with the flowers." Opposite to Tehran"
Well, I have a big room which looked like a desert for a long time, and recently I decided to add some flowers to it. So today after buying some fruits, I decided to buy a flower too.
I was watching some fancy decorated pots that the seller girl, with a smile on her face, (like all of the other sellers in switzerland) came to me and said something with an strong Swiss German accent.
I looked at her and asked: do you speak english?"
-- a little bit
good, so how long does this flower live?
-- 2 weeks and this is for inside.
what about this one?
-- this one is for outside and it lasts for 2 months.
have you something which lives about one year or more?
she looked to her flower and said: " unfortunately no"
I said ok thank you and went!!
this time I was looking at the flowers that the seller said something in German again. again
I said(in German): sprechen sie english bitte?
Seller: Aber neine.
okay, wie longe kebe das? (how long dose this live?)
-- für immer(forever)
und das?
-- es ist fur immer auch.
und das?
-- zwei monaten, und es ist fur aus.
so ich nehme es. wie viele kostet es?
-- 4.5 francen bitte.
Then I paid and took the flower.
well I speak German sometimes. I have put two pictures of that Bazaar below. you can take a look to have an idea.
